The Mechanical Maintenance Department is responsible for the repair, maintenance and Installation of GGUSD’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment. We are also responsible for all aspects of plumbing repair, maintenance, and installation including unclogging drains. Our Electricians are responsible for all aspects of electrical, controls, and lighting systems. All trades are also responsible for the administration of District-wide Preventive Maintenance programs within their respective disciplines. We also maintain, replace, install and perform the testing on our building backflow prevention devices in order to protect our water supply.
