Transfers in GGUSD

Give your children the education they deserve.  Chose Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD) and enroll in one of our award-winning schools. The majority of GGUSD students attend their school of residence or the neighborhood school closest to their home. However, GGUSD has an open enrollment process allowing families who live within GGUSD boundaries to apply for a transfer from one GGUSD school to another (intra-district transfer) and families living outside of GGUSD boundaries to apply for a transfer into the district (inter-district transfer).

The Office of Student Services oversees the transfer application process and is located on the third floor of the Garden Grove Unified School District office at 10331 Stanford Avenue in Garden Grove.  Contact Student Services at (714) 663-6391 for assistance.

The 2020-2021 Priority Transfer Window is January 13, 2020, through February 14, 2020!
