In-Person Graduation and Commencement Ceremonies
Dear Students, Parents and Staff,
On March 26th, the California Department of Public Health released Guidance for In-person Commencement and Graduation Ceremonies as well as updated Guidance for Outdoor Seated and Live Events and Performances.
We are happy to announce that GGUSD schools are planning to honor our students with in-person high school graduation ceremonies and eighth grade commencement events, following all required modifications included in this recent guidance.
If COVID-19 rates continue to decline in our communities, Orange County may remain in the orange tier or potentially even be in the yellow tier by June. GGUSD schools will follow the tiered guidance accordingly. We are excited to create meaningful ceremonies that celebrate our students while following all county and state guidelines aimed at ensuring safety and preventing the spread of COVID-19.
GGUSD school administrators will be sharing details in the weeks to come to provide families with additional information about these special events!

El 26 de marzo, el Departamento de Salud Pública de California publicó la Guía para las Ceremonias de Graduación y las Graduaciones en Persona, así como una Guía Actualizada para las Actuaciones y Eventos en Vivo y al Aire Libre.
Nos complace anunciar que las escuelas del GGUSD planean honrar a nuestros alumnos con ceremonias de graduación en persona para las escuelas secundarias y eventos de ceremonias para el octavo grado, siguiendo todas las modificaciones requeridas incluidas en esta guía reciente.
Si los índices del COVID-19 continúan disminuyendo en nuestras comunidades, el Condado de Orange puede permanecer en el Nivel Naranja o incluso potencialmente puede estar en el Nivel Amarillo para junio. Las escuelas del GGUSD seguirán la guía por niveles como corresponde. Estamos emocionados de crear ceremonias significativas que celebren a nuestros alumnos mientras seguimos todas las directrices del condado y del estado destinadas a garantizar la seguridad y prevenir la propagación del COVID-19.

In-Person Graduation and Commencement Ceremonies

Vào ngày 26 tháng 3, Bộ Y Tế California đã đưa ra Quy Định Về Việc Tổ Chức Các Buổi Lễ Tốt Nghiệp Tại Trường cũng như cập nhật Quy Định Về Việc Sắp Xếp Chỗ Ngồi Ngoài Trời, Tổ Chức Các Buổi Trình Diễn và Sinh Hoạt.
Chúng tôi vui mừng thông báo các trường thuộc GGUSD đang dự định tổ chức lễ tốt nghiệp trung học cũng như lễ ra trường lớp 8 ngay tại trường nhằm tuyên dương thành quả của các học sinh, và sẽ tuân theo mọi yêu cầu vừa được điều chỉnh trong bản hướng dẫn gần đây nhất.
Nếu tỷ lệ COVID-19 vẫn tiếp tục giảm dần trong cộng đồng chúng ta thì Hạt Orange sẽ có nhiều triển vọng chuyển sang cấp màu cam hoặc có thể là cấp màu vàng vào tháng Sáu sắp tới. Các trường thuộc GGUSD sẽ tuân theo hướng dẫn dành cho từng cấp màu. Chúng tôi rất vui được tổ chức các buổi lễ đầy ý nghĩa để mừng sự thành đạt của các em học sinh, đồng thời tuân theo mọi hướng dẫn của hạt và tiểu bang trong việc bảo đảm an toàn và phòng ngừa COVID-19 lây lan.
Trong những tuần lễ sắp tới, ban giám hiệu các trường GGUSD sẽ thông báo thêm chi tiết cho quý vị về các sinh hoạt đặc biệt này.
