GGUSD Partners with Varsity Tutors to Offer Free 24/7 Live Chat Tutoring

Garden Grove Unified School District has partnered with Varsity Tutors to offer free 24/7 live chat tutoring and one-hour tutoring sessions to support students in their academic success. The resource is now available to all TK-12 students.

What is Varsity Tutors?
Varsity Tutors is an online tutoring platform that connects students with qualified tutors in a wide range of subjects. Students can receive one-on-one chat help tailored to their specific needs. Tutors are experts in their fields and have experience working with students of all grade levels.

Key Details:

Who: All TK-12 students will have access to free chat tutoring
What: Unlimited 24/7 live chat tutoring and one-hour tutoring sessions
Where: Accessible from home through ClassLink using a district-provided device
How: Follow these simple steps to get started:

Log into ClassLink using your student credentials and click on the Varsity Tutors application icon:
Once logged on, click on “Start chatting” to begin your tutoring session:

Important Note for Parents: Upon initial login, you will be prompted to provide permission for your child to access this tutoring resource. Parents must complete this step to allow your child to use Varsity Tutors.

Additional Features:
We are excited to announce that language-specific tutoring support is also available in Spanish and Vietnamese.
