Garden Grove Unified School District has partnered with Latino Health Access and the OC Health Care Agency to offer free COVID-19 informational kits to GGUSD students and families.

The informational kits will be available for pick up during GGUSD Grab and Go Meal programs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on December 14 at Los Amigos High School; on December 16 at Santiago High School; and on December 18 at Russell Elementary Language Academy.

“I applaud the work of GGUSD’s Department of Parent and Community Outreach and the invaluable partnerships they are able to form for the benefit of the community,” said GGUSD Board of Education Trustee Bob Harden. “I encourage all parents to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to receive important COVID-19 resources at a time like this.”

Attendees will receive a kit of materials that includes a reusable cloth mask and information about COVID-19 symptoms, how to prevent the spread of the virus, local testing sites offering free COVID-19 tests, and phone numbers to call for resources such as mental and health services, food or rental assistance, and quarantine support.

Resource information will also be available on the GGUSD website for those parents who are unable to attend.

Please contact the Department of Parent and Community Outreach at (714) 663-6084 with questions.
