The Garden Grove Unified School District has launched a newly-designed website to improve communication with parents, staff, students, and the community.

The new homepage remains at www.ggusd.us and features an at-a-glance navigation tool; rotating images that showcase important information, news, or upcoming events; videos; a calendar; an e-newsletter sign-up box; and large buttons that take you to important documents like the district’s strategic plan.

“We hope that our community enjoys the new look of our website and takes advantage of all of the great information and resources we have available,” said Garden Grove Board of Education Vice President Bob Harden. “GGUSD is committed to keeping up with technology trends and that includes offering a website that is easy to use.”

The website was built to showcase the accomplishments of GGUSD staff and students and it was designed with visitors in mind. Content is categorized by its intended audience so that GGUSD parents, students, and staff can easily locate the information they need. It also features a responsive design for those who access the website through mobile devices. The district’s diverse population can use its Google Translate feature to view the website in other languages.

GGUSD acknowledges that the new website is a work in progress and is committed to continue making improvements. Community members are encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions about the website using the Feedback Form at the top of the website.
