Annual GGUSD Career Fair Aims to Help Students Discover Their Career Path

Students take a closer look at automotive parts as part of an interactive display during the 2018 GGUSD Career Fair.

The Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD) will be hosting its 2019 Career Fair at Bolsa Grande High School on February 13, starting at 5:30 p.m. The event provides students from seventh grade through high school with an opportunity to discover great careers in the business, computer science, digital media arts, education, engineering, hospitality, automotive technology, public safety, and medical fields. 

“The Career Fair gives parents and students insights into great careers and gives them access to professionals who are able to offer them information on their fields,” said Dina Nguyen, GGUSD Board of Education trustee. “It’s also a chance for them to discover what GGUSD can offer them through our career and technical education program which provides our students with fantastic career pathways."

Representatives from various colleges, as well as trade and technical schools, will be on hand to share information about their programs and answer any questions parents and students may have. An opportunity for parents and students to participate in interactive activities as well as meet with current teachers and students from various GGUSD career and technical education courses who will also be displaying projects.

Bolsa Grande High School is located at 9401 Westminster Blvd., Garden Grove. Interpretation in will be provided in Spanish, Vietnamese, and Korean.
